Raquel, a Brazilian of Korean descent, was born and raised in São Paulo. She began her career working across various fashion businesses—from vertically integrated brands to domestic and import manufacturing, including in-house sampling operations. Starting in supporting roles, she steadily advanced to designing from concept through completion.
Raquel later relocated to Los Angeles, where she currently resides. Her international perspective was further broadened when she spent three months in Guangzhou, China, working closely with manufacturers and supply vendors. During that time, she played an integral role in sourcing key trends and materials while overseeing elements of the pre-production process. Her career reflects a strong blend of creative vision and technical know-how, shaped by multicultural influences and global industry exposure.
